All about Hua-Hin
Hua Hin is one of the most famous beach resort town in Thailand, in the northern part of the Malay Peninsula. The town is closely associated with the Thai royalty. Merely 25 kilometers apart, Hua Hin in Prachuap Khiri Khan province enjoys a wealth of satellite attractions; prominent among them are national parks and historical cities.
Kaeng Krachan National Park
Kaeng Krachan is Thailand’s largest national park (2,915 sq km). With wide variety flora and fauna, more than 400 species of birds can be seen along with wild animals. You can visit also Kaeng Krachan reservoir which made covers an area of 46.5 sq km and has a capacity of 710 million cubic meters.
It is absolutely a must to visit the night market if you come to Hua-Hin. With countless outlets along the street, you can find handmade seigniors, garment, jewelries and etc. Apart from that there are plenty of seafood restaurants and Thai famous dishes. This market opens daily from 6 p.m. to 12 am.
Pa-La-U Waterfall is located about 60 Km west of Hua-Hin, near the Burmese border and it is a part of Keang Krachan National park. With more than 16 steps water fall, makes it one of the bigger water falls in Thailand. Along the way, you could enjoy rare wild life animals animal and hundreds species of butterflies. On the trip you could visit the Hill tribe village which settled around 200 years ago by Burmese origin and see their way of living.
